The Real Reason You’re Not Earning Enough From Article Marketing

I’ve been earning money from writing articles for many years now, and I get asked all the time how I do it.

Some people seem to think that all they need is to find the ‘secret’ to earning money from marketing with articles and they’ll be rich.

There are a lot of things that people believe about earning money online, but there is no ‘secret’ to online riches, and there is no such thing as ‘overnight success.’

The real ‘secret’ (if that’s what you want to call it) is simply to keep writing. It doesn’t matter what you’re writing the articles for. You just need to keep writing them every day.

They can be for your blog, social media, article directories (like Medium or Wattpad), ebook chapters, freelance submissions, or writing articles for a client. No matter how you earn money from your articles, the most important thing is to keep writing. Even if they’re just practice articles, you’ll find a market for them eventually.

There is no other way.

It’s simple math that someone who writes 2,000 articles a year (5 - 6 articles a day), is going to out-earn someone who only writes a dozen or so articles a year.

And it’s true that writing and publishing a lot of mediocre articles is better than writing and publishing just a few ‘perfect’ articles. The person who earns the most money isn’t necessarily the best writer. They’re the one who outworks the rest.

So if you’re not earring enough money, it’s because you’re not writing enough articles.

Don’t believe me?

Try it.

A Remarkably Simple Yet Overlooked Way To Write Profitable Articles

If you want to earn money writing articles, you can’t do it if you don’t know what to write about. Even if you’ve chosen a niche to work in, you still need to write articles that invoke curiosity and draw your readers in with information that is so entertaining and informational that they can’t stop reading, and are eager to buy or sign up for an offer, or do whatever else you’re asking.

But how do you do this?

It starts with getting into the heads of who you’re writing to.

You need to know what it is they’re looking for. What do they want to hear? What do they want to know?

How are you going to help them if you don’t know what they want?

Find out what drives them, what problems they have, and what keeps them up at night.

Make sure you’re working in a tight niche so you can write more directly to our audience, and see that your niche is profitable. Then learn all you can about your prospects so that you can give them the information they want.

Once you know what they want, it’s easy to write about it, and keep your articles full of the information they’re looking for, while keeping them entertained and inspired.

And all this can be found in my information-packed ebook, Build a Lucrative Niche Website - In A Month.

Download a copy now and I’ll help you create (or improve) your own niche website or blog.

How To Make a Quick “Killing” With Online Content

I’ve created and run several content websites and blogs over the last 20 years and they were all great ways to earn passive income.

But I gradually reduced the number of sites so that I could concentrate more on writing books. I still have three content sites, and I’m currently contemplating two more and I’ve already started mapping out the content for them.

The reason I can’t give up content sites completely is because over the years the income from these sites has been quite considerable and in their own quiet way, these sites have enabled me to make a passive “killing” in revenue.

The way that I earn money from these sites (and this is just one example, there’s so much more you can do) is to earn income from at least one product that I’m selling, plus earn money from PPC advertising at the same time.

I write content (articles) to attract my target audience, and use keywords to get listed in search engine results so that the right people can find my sites.

Once they arrive, I try and keep them on the site as long as possible, so I put links in the  content to internal pages to keep them reading.

I place PPC ads on every page to increase revenue including sponsored ads and image ads to create more interest which leads to more clicks.

The content I write is also aimed at increasing curiosity about a book or other product I’m promoting. I don’t hard teach, I just tease in the hope that my readers will click on the link to find out more.

And if you’re curious to find out how to have your own profitable content sites, using simple things like PPC advertising, I talk about this in much more detail and show you exactly how to do it in my ebook, Build a Lucrative Niche Website - In a Month

I even make it really easy by not just telling you what you need to do but providing direct links to everything you need.
